Sanctuary at Desert Ridge is a gated community built by Taylor Morrison off Tatum Boulevard and Pinnacle Peak Road, about a mile from Loop 101. It's one of the larger-format gated options in Desert Ridge, and one of its defining features isn't the homes, it's the setting: nearly two-thirds of lots back directly to natural open space and undisturbed Sonoran Desert, a rare amount of preserved land for a community this close to the Marketplace and High Street.

The community was built out across four collections, Discovery, Passage, Capstone and Venture, which is why home sizes here span a wide range, from just over 1,600 square feet up to nearly 4,700 square feet on resale. The clubhouse anchors the community at roughly 3,600 square feet, with a catering kitchen, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, a fitness area, pool, lounge space and an outdoor fire pit, plus trails, ramadas and a playground throughout the grounds.
